Uri Shmueli Chairman & CEO

About Uri Shmueli

From the sun-drenched shores of Eilat to the heart of the global business arena, Uri Shmueli has built a career defined by vision, resilience, and an unrelenting drive to innovate. An entrepreneur at his core, Uri's journey spans the finance industry, software development, MedTech, FinTech, and cutting-edge technological ventures, shaping industries and redefining possibilities.

Born in Tel Aviv in 1969, Uri spent his formative years in Eilat, a city where ambition meets the open sea. Even in his early career, he exhibited a rare blend of leadership and strategic insight. Before turning thirty, he was appointed CEO of a financial company within Clal Insurance Group (TLV: CLIS), one of Israel's largest insurance firms—a meteoric rise that set the stage for his future endeavors.

In 2003, Uri joined Dash Investment House (now Meitav Dash, TLV: MTAV) as Vice President of Business Development, where he played a pivotal role in driving growth. His expertise in financial strategy led him to Migdal Group (TLV: MGDL) in 2006, where he served as Deputy CEO and spearheaded the expansion of Migdal Capital Markets' marketing and distribution network.

By 2010, Uri took on a new challenge, stepping into the role of Deputy CEO at AIG Israel, the local arm of the global insurance conglomerate (NYSE: AIG). Over the next three years, he played a crucial role in shaping the company’s operations before choosing to retire from the corporate world in 2013—ready to embark on his next great adventure.

That adventure took form in 2016 with the founding of Tel Aviv Capital, a holding company built on his deep expertise in finance and technology. Initially, the company focused on fintech, forming strategic partnerships, including a collaboration with Globes, Israel’s leading economic newspaper. From managing fintech brands and developing advanced trading platforms to training traders across Europe, Tel Aviv Capital quickly established itself as a key player in the financial technology space.

Yet, Uri's vision extended far beyond fintech. In recent years, he led the expansion of TLV Digital, the company's technology arm operating in Israel and Europe. With representative offices in the Baltic States, Finland, and Slovenia, TLV Digital is at the forefront of importing, distributing, and developing cutting-edge software and applications for the finance, healthcare, and technology sectors.

At the heart of Uri Shmueli’s entrepreneurial philosophy lies a commitment to efficiency, transparency, and corporate governance. His mission is to streamline software development, revolutionize health systems, and transform financial services—all while fostering stronger business ties between Israel and Europe.

From boardrooms to innovation hubs, Uri’s journey continues to unfold, driven by the same relentless ambition that once propelled him from Eilat’s coastline to the heights of global business.
